Sala ka doola, mexica boola...bibbity boppity...BOO.
Tonite at dinner:
Bella waves her "wand" at her dad and says "Bibbity Boppity Boo....Cake!" Then starts to sing: "Happy hurtday to you..."
Hilarious.
**Translations:
wand=straw
hurtday=birthday
James taught Bella how to turn people into different objects or animals with her magic wand. Throughout the day we will be turned into things such as chickens, pizza, book, go away's, go to sleeps......but of course, my favorite is being turned into cake Ü.

Making plans...
To get Bella to go to sleep at night or for a nap, I sometimes do the following:
"Ok, Bella, you need to go to sleep....cause when you wake up, we will have a snack, then go on a walk, then go and play! So...go to sleep!"
Bella now repeats the following to ME, here and there, when she knows its time to nap or sleep for the night:
"Ok, go nite nite, then wake up, go walk, K, mommy, OK"
And that seriously doesn't do her justice, because she says it just so matter-of-factly...I'm gonna have to get it on tape.
There's nothing wrong with being a "planner" Ü

Me: Heavenly Father,
Bella: Heavenly Father, thank you for soup.
Me: Thank you for this day
Bella: Thank you for soup.
Me: Thank you for mommy and daddy
Bella: Thank you for cake
Me: Thank you for church
Bella: Thank you for church (Yay! we got one!)
Me: Thank you for Grammy and Papa
Bella: Thank you for soup, Papa, Gammy
Me: Thank you for Gramma and Grampa
Bella: Thank you for Bubba
Me: Thank you for our blessing.
Bella: Thank you for soup.
Me: Help us to sleep good
Bella: Soup.
Me: Help us to be safe.
Bella: Cake
Me: In the name of Jesus Christ,
Bella: AMEN!
It gets frustrating b/c how can you NOT LAUGH when your child says she is thankful for soup???

From a much sunnier day....
Bella and I took a few days last week,
when the sun was out and shining,
to work on my "flower beds."
I have GREAT plans for these flower beds,
I just hope I can pull it off, I was not
blessed with a green thumb.
Bella LOVES the chance to be outside
and especially to be a "helper."
On this particular day, I needed
her help in watering...
But what makes me giggle is one
of the conversations we had:
Bella: Mommy, I helper
Me: Yes, you are!
Couple minutes later...
Bella: Mommy look!
CHOCOLATE MILK!
mmmmm!
Me: giggle giggle giggle
Bella's Chocolate Milk
There's enough to go around!

Ultimate Bella-cuteness
SOOOOO.....my daughter has learned a new phrase. The other day I told her it was time for a nap, she said "OK, 5 minutes" (and the way she says 5 minutes is so cute I could die!) I laughed my butt off, to say the least. I could not believe she had just said that to me...wondered where she got it! Well, James puts her to bed most nights b/c I am working...and he gives her a countdown, 15 minutes, 10 minutes, 5 minutes. So...she was just informing me of her countdown, I guess! TOO FUNNY!

Preschool
Fast, quick blog...I finally have a night off (after 8 nights straight)
so I would rather NOT be on the computer.
But I thought I would just list a few things we learned
at PRESCHOOL today:
1-Bella is super-duper shy when out of her comfort zone
2-Aubree and David G. like the taste of dirt
3-Dirt is dirty :P But still a heck of a lot of fun!
4-Ewan is the smartest kid ever and will probably be winning the Nobel Peace Prize by age 6!
5-Preschool is full of fun, loud and crazy CUTE kids and we can't wait to go back next week!
Bella has been talking about "school with Fynn" all day! I'm thinking that "Fynn" in Bellanguage might actually be "friends"?? But its more hilarious that she talks about cute little Fynn constantly!
Thats all for tonite guys! I'm off to veg and watch some TV with my hubby!

All is well!
I received an email from my PopPop today asking me if everything was ok, since I have been neglecting my blog ALOT! So...here's a little update for you :).
Everything is well in Kirchmann-land....this week has been a long one, for some reason. The days are short, and I don't seem to have the time to do all I want...but on the flip side, it's STILL NOT FRIDAY...well, now it almost is. I woke up this morning thinking it was Friday, then was mildly disappointed when I remembered, that NOPE...just one more day. Then its the weekend! YAY!
Bella is starting to talk a ton more, I am still needed as an interpreter though...like today at Walmart, she was saying something to the lady at the fabric counter, and I had to repeat what she said, "Yes those are pumpkins" and the lady said "OH!" and laughed...hmmm....I could understand her perfectly, whats the matter with you??
She is also starting to share her knowlege of all things speaking to her younger sister. On the way to Walmart this morning, she thought it was just HILARIOUS to blabber at the top of her lungs, b/c right after she would finish her sentence, little Aubree would try to out-do her big sister with a grunt or scream.
Speaking of learning...this morning I went into a dark bedroom and found Bella laying on my bed, shining a flash light at the ceiling....I thought "oh cute" and then was a little annoyed with her b/c she was like "mommy, mommy, mommy, look" and we needed to leave. Then tonight, James was telling me that he and Bella had laid on the bed last night, in the dark, shining flashlights at the ceiling for like 30 minutes. He would "chase" her light around the ceiling. And then I felt bad for getting irritated, she was just trying to show me something new she had learned! Oh well, I bought her some new clothes today ;P.
I feel like I actually accomplished something with my yardwork today. We had the foundation fixed before we moved into the house, and the foundation people left big gaping holes on either side of the house, with a big mound of dirt off to the side. I had been meaning to get around to filling the holes before they did more damage, but had been keeping myself busy with pulling out bushes and chopping back overgrowth....I FINALLY got around to it this afternoon and filled the hole!!! It looks so much better!! AND that part of the house may not fall off....how nice. I also made us a little concrete area to stack the garbage cans out of extra blocks we had lying around. Ahhh.....I can finally check something off my list. And I can rest easy tonite with my popcorn and hot chocolate :).
Love to all....I hope this was a good update, Grams and PopPop!
OH OH OH...and last but not least....James...he is doing good, too....he's working, not much else :) and he is very excited for tomorrow to be Friday, too. We are going to a Parenting Network Night hosted by Deloitte at some pizza place with go carts and miniature golf. Should be fun, and I'll try to post some pictures...gotta get some batteries for the camera!

Sarah smiles...
nowadays there are several times a day where
I have to remind her to call me MOMMY!
She will say "Sarah, Sarah, help you..."
(translation of help you in bellanguage is help me)
(translation of help you in bellanguage is help me)
And I look at her and say, "Seriously...
I AM YOUR MOTHER!"
I gave birth to you...AT HOME...
it was an excruciating experience
and because of all I have gone thru with you...
you WILL CALL ME MOMMY :)
I know she only does this b/c she hearsothers call me by Sarah, so it is
totally hilarious!
