I love holidays! I really do...not only does James get a day off and we get to play all day, but we always seem to do something fun! Today was no exception....James let me sleep in way too late (not complaining), but not too late b/c I got to do a tiny bit of yard work, bit by bit I am gaining control of the lawn from the weeds!! Then after Aubree's nap, we took the girls to the $1 theater in Irving and saw Shrek the Third. I love the Shrek movies, I always find myself laughing...Bella just looks at me with this "huh?" face. The girls did "pretty" good...James had to stand with Aubree in the back, she kept hollering at the screen :). Bella sat and enjoyed her popcorn for awhile, but kept trying to go back and stand with daddy...good thing I had my goodie-stash in my purse. This will probably be the last movie we take them to for awhile, but it was nice to all go together...and to find a close $1 theater!!
After the movies, I got to go have some girl-time with my friend Kelli, nothing better than shopping and talking. We then all got together with Shannon and Keith at Kelli's house for some yummy barbeque. Bella had a blast with Ewan and Natalie....its so fun to watch them all play so well together. I totally brought my camera intending to take some pics of the kiddos playing...but as always, it slipped my mind!
I am so glad that we have met such great friends since we moved here! It's almost been a year and our circle of friends just keeps expanding. I love it!
PS...we missed you Missy and John!
