Back in TX

After a long night last night and a long day today, we are back home in TX. The trip went by WAY too fast, but I am glad to be home. The Kirchmann's did their best to try to get the girls and I to stay until THANKSGIVING! :) But I held strong, even with their sweet bribery attempts. I stayed with them last year from Thanksgiving to Christmas....alot of fun, but too much time away from home. I do love being in their home, there is a sense of warmth and love that prevails :).
We drove 7 hrs last night to Topeka.....and stayed at the "lovely" Candlelight Inn...hmm......if you are EVER in Topeka...spend the extra $20 and stay at a Days Inn....even if its for 5 hours! Even though the Candlelight DID have a playground...still intact from 1987, too!
I took a couple pictures here and there, which I will post tomorrow night....I don't have the energy to laugh thru them all. The trip bordered on excruciating, Bella was a trip and Aube was a pain :). What else can you expect? Thank goodness for travelling DVD players! Why didn't we have one of those when we were driving from MO to NV growing up, MOM?? LOL....
OK...so off to bed, I finally got unpacked and got to veg a little and catch up on The Office and My Name is Earl...YAY!
Just wanted to let you all know we are BACK and safe :). Pictures tomorrow....promise!

I'm glad that you had fun. DVD players are a must for trips with kids. I don't think I would be sane without them. Cute pics of the girls too:)
