Her friend’s brother attended conference and saw this happen: After President Hinckley finished with the sustaining of the officers of the church during the Saturday morning session, Elder Eyring had> moved into his new seat on the stand. Unfortunately, they didn't show this on TV, but when President Hinckley turned around, he stood there> for a moment looking at Elder Eyring (probably with the little twinkle in his eye), then picked up his cane and "knighted" him on his shoulder and head. Truly one of the funniest things I've ever seen> him do.

That is so funny! We were so happy to have Elder Eyring called—he's always been one of our favorites! Men like Pres Hinckley do not come around every day, we are very lucky to have him!
Elder Eyring has always been my favorite. I love to hear him speak. What an awesome moment.
That is so cute! I love when they show themselves to be real men. Not just these figures that we know are so good and righteous, but also real people too! I have always loved President Hinckleys sense of humor, he always makes me crack up!
