So...I am in my office working and James is in watching
the taped version of tonight's Cowboys game.
I hear him laugh every once in awhile.....
I had gotten a call where the Tech said
"I can't believe the Cowboy's lost".
So I ran out and teased James,
"I know who WIIIINNS and who LOOOSE's!"
He threatened me with something severe that will not be repeated!
I find this all very amusing b/c James has
a love of football that I never knew about!
It all started with Madden 04
(which I broke on purpose b/c he played it too much)
and now it's the Cowboys....
He will say "I've always liked football"
so, I guess I just never realized, I just thought he was a Laker fan.

Anyways...I guess I can file this under random, too :).

Go 49ers!!! Yuck!! I hate the cowboys. James only likes them because he lives in Texas now!!:) I'm so glad when they lose. I know, I know. 49ers suck right now but they will get better in the years to come. I know I'm going to get heckled with this post but I don't care. Go niners!!!
Bryce has NEVER been into football, I considered myself so blessed. He likes basketball, which is fine with me, because I can sit and watch that and enjoy it. But now, we are surrounded by so many rabid football fans, he's been watching. yay. I am underwhelmed.
Yes, I've always liked football, but I've never had a team to root for, so I would only watch it occasionally. Now I have a team to root for (besides the sorry UNLV team which will never be on TV anyway) so I'll watch it more. As far as Krista's comment about me only liking the Cowboys because we live in Dallas...she's right. But you're supposed to root for the home team, aren't you? I suppose if any teams had stayed in Los Angeles, I wouldn't be a Cowboys fan right now. But one thing's for certain, I would never stoop so low as to be a 49ers fan. haha. or Tony Stewart fan. haha. Just kidding, Krista.
You don't have to root for the home team, we don't. I was raised hating the Cowboys, and I married someone who dislikes them almost as much!
Okay I feel one SERIOUS Cowboys-watching party brewing! Glad you came over to our side, James. We'll get Sarah soon enough! (And maybe Bryce, too!)
Bryce may be a lost cause, but welcome to the party James! The water is better here and we smell a Superbowl in the near future!!
That's ok James. The niners will be able to give you a run for your money again in a couple of years. The cowboys had a few rebuilding years too. Too bad Steve Young doesn't play anymore:( As for UNLV, I thought we were going to have a good year. We started out good but it has since turned south. O-well. Maybe next year...Why L.A.? You never lived there, did you? My bro is a huge Rams fan and followed them to St. Louis. I guess in Vegas, you have to just pick a team because there is no home team!!! Rooting for a team makes it a ton more fun. Hopefully Sarah doesn't go for the cowboys!!!
Oh..I go for cowboys...just not the fb playin' type! LOL...
And LA b/c of the Lakers, and he did live CLOSE to LA for the first 16ish years of his life, so I guess that counts for something! :)
I was born in the L.A. area and we lived in Southern California until my senior year of highschool when we moved to Vegas. I started to follow UNLV this season and they almost pulled off a win against Wisconsin. Basketball should be good this year, since they made the sweet sixteen in last year's tournament. I'm just glad we finally have some tv channels so I can watch my Laker games this season. I'm just going to ignore that cowboy comment, Sarah. I'm crying on the inside, though.
I guess you learn something new everyday. I didn't know you were born in L.A. The Lakers aren't bad so I will forgive you for liking the Cowboys. Just don't talk bad about Tony!!! Hopefully we will have something to cheer about with the rebels soon. It was nice to see them go to the sweet 16. They were all over the news since it's been so long since they were there. Miss you guys.
