Today we had a four-family yardsale....it was a lot of fun. We got up at the buttcrack of dawn and headed over to Kelli's house. It was freezing and still dark outside. I think that's the earliest the girls have been up in a very long time :). Mommie too....
It was an all day affair, minus a few hours that we went home and the girls took a quick snooze. The kids had alot of fun playing with all the 'for sale' toys, they did some pretty artwork with chalk on Kelli's front and back steps, and Bella did a little bit of flower pruning (sorry 'bout that, Kelli!).
I think I got a LOT of my baby girl clothes sold off, thank goodness....I was hanging onto alot of stuff for sentimental reasons...but finally decided to just get RID of it...and hopefully buy the next baby all new clothes! I was also able to sell my old stroller and baby excer-saucer and walker for a good amount, too! YAY!
The girls did really well playing and I think they enjoyed all the fresh air. Bella took a nice little tumble and may grow up with a nose like Owen Wilson !
It was a fun day....and we'll be back tomorrow, hoping to sell off the rest of it!

GREAT, you were able to sell some stuff! I FINALLY got rid of all of my boys' outgrown clothes when we moved in April. I gave it to 2 different ladies in our ward who had baby boys. I had a HARD time too, but now I am SO GLAD THOSE BOXES ARE GONE! I did keep some of my favorites though and of course the blessing and hospital outfits and the baby nikes. Couldn't let go of those.Ü Good luck with it tomorrow!
You didn't sell that grocery cart cover, did you??? I so want it if you want to get rid of it. I will pay you what you want cause I want one for J.J. and all the other ones I've seen, I don't like. Miss ya tons!!!
Yard sales are fun.. Thank you for getting me stuff :) Cayden and I are very excited.. OKay mainly me.. I think he hates me dressing him up in different outfits.. hehe :)
Did you make enough to get some steak... and cake?
oh yes...got some GOOD steak from Texas L&C....we skipped the cake and got milkshakes instead :). WOOHOO
I have never been there... Maybe I need an excuse to come up. I have heard it's yummy!
We have been there twice now, it just depends on what you get...but they have a pretty good variety of steak...of course, thats coming from someone who loves to get their steak from Chili's :)
Have you been to Texas Roadhouse or Saltgrass? Very good steak.
I have been to Texas Roadhouse...but in Las Vegas :). I would hope it would taste better here! That is actually where James and I went on our first date 100 years ago.
We haven't been to Saltgrass...any good? We did try the Trail Dust, which was cool b/c of the live music and dancing, kept the girls entertained!
100 years ago, how long have ya'll been together? Ya'll look so young! Saltgrass is AWESOME but kinda expensive, but also totally worth it!

They got married in 2001.. Met in 2000.. So she's not that much of an old fart.. Just compared to her 20 year old sister :) (me)
oh man a 20 year old, you're 5 years older than my son and I am 13 years older than you. Getting old stinks! I'll take the wisdom but not the wrinkles!
