Phew...the whirlwind is over. Today, eating lunch at Carl's Jr while James and my Dad were at Firestone getting our tire fixed (for the SECOND time)...my mom made the comment "What will we do now without a wedding to plan?" They takes MONTHS to put together, all the stress and worried days and nights that everything will be perfect...then POOF...its over and done with.
Laura is now a happily married woman...she and Joseph were sealed for time and all eternity yesterday at the Mt Timpanogas temple (pictures to follow when we get home).
I love to attend sealings....I have been to four now for siblings. And each time, the sealer says something different, something reflect on. The sealer for Laura and Joseph talked about a lot of really cool things, he went over the different things that went on in the temple, the stages that we go thru to ultimately get to the sealing room. It was awesome to be refreshed on those subjects. I remember looking at Laura and thinking "she's not my baby sister anymore, what a wonderful woman she has become." And I also made a promise to myself to be a better sister to her.
I loved sitting there, watching my parents watching each other with admiration in their eyes...and I was overwhelmed with what awesome parents I have! What wonderful work they have done to have 3 of their children so far live the gospel to the point of being able to be sealed in the temple, being one step closer to being together as a family for time and eternity. What a wonderful gift I have been given, to be raised by such wonderful parents, to have a husband who was raised by wonderful parents...and for that grand tradition to be in our lives to be passed onto our children. I can only hope and pray that one day, I will be sitting across the sealing room from James, watching each other while Bella is being sealed to her eternal mate (and Aubree one day too....). But we won't marry them off too soon!! LOL...just a moment of reflection from me... :)
We are on our way back home tomorrow....I will be so sad to leave this home behind, though! It's been a fun-filled, drama-filled, love-filled 8 days!

How sweet, and how lucky you are.
We've missed you, but I'm glad you have had such a wonderful experience. Please be safe on the way home.
Yes, I agree! What a wonderful, touching experience to add to your Christmas trip, but I will be selfish and say, We missed you! And will be glad to have you back! Drive very, very safe! The weather is awful!
What a neat experience. That is so awesome that you were able to be there for it. I wish I could see my siblings in the temple. You are very lucky. I'm also glad that you got there safetly. I've been worried about you hearing about how much snow everyone is getting. Be safe on your way home. Hopefully there will be no more tire issues and let us know if you need a place to stay for the night. Love ya.
