It's a "WILL" kind of year!

I have decided that 2008 will be great....a rhyme is good anytime :)
I wrote down my resolutions in the car on the way to AZ on New Year's Eve.
I LOVE to make resolutions, and the beginning of every year, I start a new journal with my list at the front, gives me such a fresh start....but I'm not so sure that I ever accomplish anything!
For this year...I want to make them "WILL" statements:
  • I will organize my life....I feel like if I can just get organized, even make up a daily schedule if I have too, then things will run smoothly.
  • I will read my scriptures daily, and study them, learn the stories so I can teach my girls.
  • I will say my prayers -on my knees- every morning and night. Not bunched up under the covers b/c our room is freeeeeezing...but respectively on my knees, like I was raised!
  • I will get our family to say family prayer every day.
  • I will start to get us out of debt, one step at a time.
  • I will lose some weight --this one has been on the list for YEARS now, and so far it's always gone opposite of what I planned. So...I figured this year I'll try something different.... I will eat differently, get outside more to walk...maybe we'll get some bikes or a treadmill (yum). I know it's hard to believe, but I love to do YOGA....and I would love to be able to do it daily....get my Chi a little centered :).

So...there you go....let's "WILL" it this year!

That is such a good idea, to start a new journal! I never want to write in my journal b/c it has such a gap between the last time I wrote. You have inspired me!

Last year I started a new journal for me, one for Bella from me and one for Aubree from me. Kinda over-achiever there! Ive slacked off of all 3 since doing this blog, though...its hard to not feel redundant!

Wow Super mom!!! I'm just trying to do my own journaling. I don't even have Makenna's first year totally scrapbooked and now I have another kid;)
Let's try to help each other out on that list. I just have no self control.

Isn't your blog a journal so to speak? You could do like Dooce and do a monthly post on their progress for that month, then hit print and voila!
