Today, James and I decided that credit card companies should try to HELP people with spending problems (like me) by putting little notes on the statement, like "Congratulations, you finally paid off that pair of Nike's you bought in 1999!" or "Give yourself a pat on the back, all the interest from that trip you took to Minnesota in 2003 is finally paid off!" Now wouldn't that just give you some perspective!

Oh my gosh, this has me rolling! I have one, "Congratulations you finally paid of that trip to McDonalds you made on your BIG MOVE from Oregon to South Carolina in 2005!" I swear, that move will always be there to haunt us...

In listening to Dave Ramsey it makes me feel a little silly putting things like that on credit card.

Instead though the credit card company says Great Job here is a 1% return. So for instance if I spend $2500 on the American Express I can get a $25 gift card to Home Depot. Now that is a DEAL!!
