Firsts...

Today we had a couple of "firsts" for Miss Bella.
She read the scripture and say the prayer
for the first time in Primary!
We have been practicing 1 John 4:14 all week!
This is us last night:

I tried to get a video of it, but it was too big
and wouldn't post....which is ok anyways, b/c she
was hopped up on a Grape Sonic Slushee and
only repeating a few words here and there....
Which is kinda how Primary went today,
she was quite she, totally expected....
but she said the closing prayer quite nicely!

Her scripture:
And we have seen and do testify
that the Father sent
the Son
to be the Saviour of the world.

Another first!
I have finally gotten over it,
and Bella is pull-up free!
A first for her and me!

Alright, Bella! How exciting to give the scripture and prayer in primary! I'm sure she did great, and congrats on no pull-ups, too! We're still trying to give up pull-ups at night and during naps...we're not quite ready yet! :)

Oh we still have diapers at night and naps! But I had been in the baaaaad habit of putting them on her when we GO places...stores, friends, church...just b/c I am lazy! BUT....now they are ONLY for naps and bedtimes....I dont know when she will be ready to kick those!

Yay Bella!! It's such a relief when you can leave the house without worrying if you have the pull up on or not. It's so nice when it finally clicks and you KNOW that they won't just have an accident. I have no idea when we are going to kick it for naps and night either but that I don't mind so much. I can handle one pull up and one night time pull up a day. Good job on the scriptures Mom!!

Go Bella!! My kids are way nervous about doing scripture and prayer, someday...

Hehe...I don't know if it has clicked!! I've just made up my mind to quit being lazy with her and if we are out and about to help her pay attention more. One step at a time....Im excited for the day when she says "Mom, I KNOW I am wearing panties, shut your pie hole." Ü

Yay, Bella! Was she nervous in Primary? And YAY! for the pull-up thing. I don't even think about night-training anymore. I just supposed he'll let me know somehow when he's ready.

Good job, Bella. You nailed it...especially the "amen" at the end.

Is he serious? You guys don't really look that much alike. You better keep an eye on that guy. He might try to go up to some chick and smack her on the rear and then say he thought it was you. Oldest trick in the book (except for the one where you put a rubber band on the sink sprayer so when someone turns on the water at the sink they get soaked)

Good job for Bella! I was a total slacker and MISSED NATALIE!!! I am so sad about that, come sunday morning I totally forgot she was doing it! And woohoo about the pullups! It will get easier every day, but yes I agree with you about the hassel of taking them in the public potties! Yuck!

funny conversation that didn't really ever happen except in my head just now:
Me: Bella, can you say your ABCs?
Bella: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOQRSTUVWXYZ
Me: Where's the P?
Bella: It's running down my leg because I don't wear pullups anymore.
