To get Bella to go to sleep at night or for a nap, I sometimes do the following:
"Ok, Bella, you need to go to sleep....cause when you wake up, we will have a snack, then go on a walk, then go and play! So...go to sleep!"
Bella now repeats the following to ME, here and there, when she knows its time to nap or sleep for the night:
"Ok, go nite nite, then wake up, go walk, K, mommy, OK"
And that seriously doesn't do her justice, because she says it just so matter-of-factly...I'm gonna have to get it on tape.
There's nothing wrong with being a "planner" Ü

That is so cute!!! I do that sometimes with Makenna but then she gets so excited that she won't sleep;) She just sits in her bed, yelling, "We going to grandma and papa's?" over and over!!
So cute! I tried something kind of like that with Ewan a while back, but it would backfire because after he'd been laying down for five minutes, he'd say, "I rested, time to go now!"
