Stayed the first night in good ole Wichita....though looking at this map...it didnt take us through Wichita...stinkin' Mapquest! Just because you let me copy/paste and Google maps didn't, doesn't mean you can go showing the wrong info! We've learned to not follow Mapquest, with their round-about ways!
Along the way, we made a friend....literally. Meet Clem Pealy. Ü. What do YOU do in a car for 15 hours? Knit?
Not only does Clem not have the best conversation skills, the lazy punk just laid around all day.

Ahhh....yes....what a way to start the posts!

"Clem"? Did you know steven used to threaten to name our first child "Clem"? Seriously though, great car-riding pasttime...making friends out of fruit. I see a bestseller coming out...
Just don't leave your friends in the dashboard on a sunny day! Friends don't let friends SHRIVEL!(sp?)
Oh my gosh! You crack me up! This was well worth the wait :)
What's wrong with knitting?!
Hehe...nothing is wrong with knitting! On one of these trips, I tried cross-stitching! It went horribly, kept losing my place since I tend to get carsick and have to look up!
On the way up there, I actually started making a friendship bracelet!
You are way too funny!!!
976 miles, and what about the orangel?
ha ha ha ha how funny, well Clem was sick of the traveling!
Okay, "the lazy punk just laid around all day" made my day.
Ok...you came our way and didn't let me know!! You could have stayed in Grain Valley, which is WAY more fun than Wichita!! :) Just kidding. I guess we missed you! Sounds like you guys had a great trip!
Oh man, just seeing that long line on the map is making me dread our trip to Utah. I guess I need to get a case of clementines!? And, car-sickness bags. The last time I drove to Utah, Chandler was 2. He barfed all the way there and back. The altitude made him have massive asthma/allergies.
