What do you do when you are the best of friends and the worst of friends? It's absolutely ridiculous....b/c you KNOW they love each other, there is no doubt about that. But it's like oil and water.
What's mine is NOT yours and whats yours is totally mine...and wait, I'll take all that too.
And you know what...it was an EQUAL amount of total crankiness. Like, I totally love my Bella, but there is just SOMETHING about her that drives other kids crazy, especially boys that have more of an understanding of MINE than she does! And, we found out this weekend, that she has a little bit of a teasing side to her....like she totally KNOWS that one thing that bugs Bubba the most...so she does it over and over again, with a little grin on her face. (hmmmm, wonder who she got that from...ahem, James)
It makes me sad to think how horrible they treated each other this weekend....at times I could not believe such sweet children could act that way! We chalked it up to age, hopefully...or having to be in such close quarters for such a long time....or to lack of sleep, the list can go on and on, there are plenty of excuses out there.

Yes, she definitely gets the teasing from me. And I did my share of teasing Bubba this weekend, too. I couldn't help myself. You can't ask to run through the sprinklers and then not expect me to hose you down when you refuse to get wet after I get everyone's swimsuits on. I apologized, though. And to be fair, I hosed all three kids down, so as not to be biased. He was good for me when I was watching the kids. I think he's scared of me a little...mwahaha. It was good to have them over, though. The last couple of months have been busy busy with people. It's kind of weird getting back into the routine of things. I thought about putting Bella back in her room with Aubree last night, but decided against it. They seem to get more sleep when they're not in the same room...good for mom when she's working.
Isn't it funny that when we think of our time together, that the first thing that comes to mind is how much the kids were DRIVING US CRAZY?!!? It's definitely NOT going to be Bubba's turn next time we come out... more like Hannah, or Emily!! I did have a wonderful time with all of you... even James! Thanks for treating me like a queen! Now I'm getting back to the regular stuff of life... darn! Sure do love you Sarah!

I have seen that teasing twinkle in her eyes while chasing Ewan or waving one of his desired toys in his face. It cracks me up. She totally knows what she's doing! Sweet pictures.
It's such a combination of knowing what she is doing and just plain having fun. Hopefully these boys will catch up with her fun attitude one of these days :).
