Both Bella and Aube have enjoyed watching the Olympics with us, like we knew they would! Bella is extremely fascinated with the diving...both women's and men's (a fact I find interesting, since James was on the Dive Team in High School...I would post pictures, but he would probably divorce me).
As I described in my previous post, we went to the Library on Saturday. The girls love to run thru the isles picking out their books! Looks like the "love-to-read" gene was passed down, thank goodness! Hopefully they make it past picture books! Ü
I figured, what the heck...might as well try and see if Aube has some interest in potty-training. She is 22 months, but I always felt I waited too long to push it with Bella. (Please excuse my finger covering up parts I doubt she will want to have post on the internet!) Of course, she never did go...but wasn't scared to death of it either...and of course, quite enjoyed the flushing part and attention she received for just sitting there!
Last Friday, as I finished Breaking Dawn (I was totally immersed, unknown things happening around me), I looked up and just had to laugh...Bella had made a make-shift bed on a pool floatie...her and Aube both having a side! Whats even more hilarious....they BOTH had little books on learning Portuguese. I guess they want to learn how to converse with their Daddy Ü.

And no, they didn't ruin them! They are naturally crooked....cause I have a habit of naturally falling asleep with them on! I really need to get a new pair! Ü
Aube loves to climb underneath this little slide we have in our front room and cuddle with her "little people" and bottle of juice. Once in awhile, she'll have a little conversation going on under there...her cute little sing-song voice.
Too much cuteness!!

Your girls are hilarious! And adorable! How cute about the Portuguese books! Yay for potty training! I gotta get crackin' on Maddie! :) I soooo feel your pain about your "gripe". Life is full of surprises! Keep your knees bent is my motto!!! Keep smiling! It will get better!

That is just way too much cuteness!! I hear ya on the glasses part too. I really need another pair. Makenna broke mine in the middle but since I wear contacts now, I only wear them at home. So, I just had Travis glue them together and now they are seriously crooked and nerdy but they work for the nighttime when noone seems me;)
They're so much cuter when they play nice.

ahhhhh, they are sooo stinkin' cute! My favorites are the ones of Aubree on the bottom. Those cheeks are begging to be squeezed!
I am not a fan of the library either..but yes, desperate times call for desperate measures...We took the boys weekly to the library all summer. THEY LOVE IT! So does Gareth, he would live there if he could, me not so much. Great that they will give you a break and read...thats fabulous. Good luck with the potty training.
