How Bella spent HER day....

I did my best to try and make Bella's Birthday a fun day for her! First off, we dropped Aube off at Shannon's house for the morning (thanks!) so that Bella could have the day with just her Mommy and Daddy. Then we headed over to her Dr's office for her 4 year-old check-up. Which, in retrospect, probably wasn't the funnest way to start the day. Especially since the boosters they give pre-schoolers is like 5 shots! She did very well...of course, by the 5th one, she was crying pretty hard...but um, yeah...I would too!
But we love Dr Bruce....Bella saw her back a year ago for her 3 year old well-baby checkup and only a couple times since...she is so good with both of the girls! She praised me (yes, can you believe it!) on how well Bella is doing with her weight. She only gained maybe 1 pound since her 3 yr old check-up, but is still over the 100% percentile for heighth....which, she is still the tallest, yet she isn't gaining as rapidly. I very truly have been trying hard to keep what the girl's eat under control, though it doesn't ALWAYS work....but at least it's doing something!

43.66 inches TALL
Weighing in at 50 lbs 9 ounces.

After the trauma of the booster shots.....we headed over to Ft Worth to pick up daddy at work. Daddy found a cute little dinner called The Purple Cow, where we ate yummy burgers and had purple ice cream sundae's and purple milk shakes! YUM! Cutest little dinner, purple everywhere...so you know I love it! I had planned on taking Bella over to the mall to the Disney store to pick out a princess dress for her birthday...but time was short and we're gonna do it another night.
For her birthday dinner....we wanted to do something fun...debated between bowling and Chuck E. Cheese. And THE CHEESE won out. It was a Monday night, so not too big of a crowd and we got our pick of the good games. Bella won a 150 ticket jackpot! And the family sitting next to us was having a small birthday party and had leftover birthday cake they gave to the girls! So, Bella did get to eat some cake, even though I procrastinated and didn't get one just for her!

And thanks to all the family and friends sending their love! Bella LOVES to listen to people sing to her!
