Two left feet....

or in Aube's case....two right feet.

One of my hope of hopes is that my klutziness does not pass on to my children...I would rather them inherit James' grace and poise (sniff). I, myself, have been blessed with a severe lack of grace....very apparent since I have had 3 knee surgeries and more recently, several incidents of rolling my ankle (one that ended up with me sprawled in the hallway at church...which is when I vowed to never wear any shoes taller than an 1/2 inch!!). And it doesn't stop there...I drop things, break plates, and constantly dripping food on myself....must I go on.

But I digress...because really this post has nothing to do with being accident prone! Ü Well, in a way.
We have been having a bit of a shoe dilemma here in our home....and having girls, I'm sure this will just be the beginning of fashion crisis time. I love these clogs of Aube's...but this whole week I have been stuck with TWO RIGHT FEET! The one on the left disappeared and even with searching high and low, they were no where to be found. But I figured they would show up one of these days....in the meantime, I relied on an older pair of clogs, passed down from Bella.
Until....3 days later when we are in Walmart, I look down and lo and behold, the left shoe is MISSING!! Seriously...she took it off and dropped it. I spent a good while retracing my steps, checking at customer service to see if it had been returned....to no avail. We were now stuck with not just ONE right shoe, but two!
Key to finding lost shoes: don't just peer under the couch and call it a day, MOVE the couch and viola! The object you seek is surely to appear!

Oh man! LOL, so did you find a left shoe under the couch, or are those just wise words? How funny that she lost the other left one in the store, but that would drive me crazy, I would be so sad for that lost shoe...all alone at wal mart, never to be seen again!

That is so funny!! I wished that my klutziness didn't pass on as well but as you can see from my recent post that it did!! My burn is healing nicely though. I think I will even be ok before I have to work.
So, laid out in the hallway at church, huh??? How many witnesses?? At least it wasn't in sacrament meeting. I almost bit it when a kid darted out in front of me. I don't know how I saved myself and I was holding baby Kenna too!!! Ü When did you have your knee surgeries? High School?

That’s funny. One of Caedyn’s clogs was missing this weekend – I finally found it – in the washing machine! It got mixed in with the dirty laundry I guess (and – incase you’re curious – they do wash well.) :-)

First of all, you are NOT a clutz! I refuse to believe that someone who played tons of different sports and did WELL... and also who was the drum major for the band all 4 years... could POSSIBLY be anything near a clutz! Knee surgery happened because you inherited weird knee joints and ligaments... :) sorry!

Secondly, I think under the couch is where our black hole resides. I'm afraid to move it! Haha!
