With a plan of attack, you can maintain a sparkling house in just 19 minutes a day.

That's the title of an article I read today.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *deep breath* hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I think it was the "sparkling" part that set me off.....
Yeah, I know...it might work....but still... 19 minutes to clean it up, 2 minutes for the girls to bring out ALL their toys yet again.

Check out the article:

oh my goodness! LOLOLOLOL. and um, I would like to point out that the time allotted for each room doesn't count the time to walk to each place, the time that you are stopping to get a sippy, change a diaper, wipe a butt, kiss a boo boo, drink some DP...the list goes on. So IN A VACCUM we could do it? right?

ok, that lady that is doing that...is FAST! 30 seconds to clear the night stand? i don't think so!

Those were my feelings exactly! It may only take that, but it takes less than that for them to "un-do" all that you have done. It's just the never ending process of having kids. Ü I have decided that I would rather spend time with my kids and have my house not perfect, than a perfect house and not have that time with my kids. I heard something the other day... it was "A husband would rather come home to a messy house and a happy, calm wife than a spotless house and angry stressed one." Tu-shay! However I think Gareth gets the not so clean house and ornery wife... Poor guy.

Whoever wrote that has never been to my house. It takes 19 minutes to walk up the driveway and get past the bikes on the porch. Spare me! I agree with Shannon, totally. Provided there are no distractions, you can do almost anything in 19 minutes.

I guess this is assuming you're starting with a totally clean, sparkling house... it would be interesting to actually time how long it really takes a normal person to do these things. Hummm... Sarah, you're house is wonderful and amazing clean and organized with having such sweet little girls there "helping" you (ie, getting everything back out again right after it's clean). I think you do a fantastic job!
