For those wondering...

my mom had a stress test done today. She has been having chest pressure for the last month or so, which has been progressively getting worse. She had a normal EKG done, but they wanted to do some more testing, so they did a stress test. She will get the results back tomorrow, and we are praying fervently for normal results. She knows everything will be all right, as do I....but the worry is always there for the unknown.
Of course, my worry for my mother has been going on for awhile. She is the strongest woman I know....I don't know how she does it all. My heart swells with pride when I think what a wonderful, loving, honest, caring person she is. But the stress she endures is overwhelming, and has become more so since these symptoms have started. I loved hearing her plan this afternoon...exercise, eat better, cut back on sodas, move to Texas....... Ok, so the move to Texas part was MY plan to help her stress levels.
I will update tomorrow with test results.

Sarah, what the heck!!!! I am so sorry about your mom but I'm sure she is going to be 100% a-okay. Get her to move to Texas, dang-it!

I hope all is well with her. She needs a massage!!Ü If all is well with her stress test, will she move on to other tests? I hate it when doctors don't figure out what IS going on with you just because a couple of tests are normal. There has to be a reason for her pain.
And nooooo, she doesn't need to move to Texas. You just need to move there;)

Ya know I have the same symptoms as mom.. so if it does come up as normal - which my heart tests did (didn't have a stress test though..) then she MIGHT just have bad esophageal spasms like me! They suck and I'm on prilosec otc now! :) YAY ME!

I hope it turns out okay! That's always scary when parents have stuff like that they have to get checked out for. I'll be keeping y'all in my thoughts.

Wow Sarah! Well it's 5:00 pm Monday, and still no word on the results. I've left a message, so hopefully someone will get back to me. But like the X-ray tech said, "no news is good news", right? I had a great day on Saturday! Must have been all those prayers. Please tell your friends thank you. However, I think I may have overdone it. Oh dear. Oh well. I love you very much Sarah, and appreciate your concern! Without sounding too morbid, would you be the one to write my eulogy? in about 30 years?

That is morbid! But I know what you mean ;)...and of course I will! As long as its in 30+ years!!
Love you mom, keep us updated!
