Happy *30*, James!

Today James turns the big 3-0. So, in honor of that, I thought I would take a look back on his life.
30 years ago, James was born in California.....to Larry and Lauri. He was their Sweet Baby James.
As he grew older, he became their Jamie and Fanny. He was a "ladies man" in high school....

Need I say more? (And yes, I won't be alive after posting this picture)

After High School, he served a 2 year mission for our Church.

For those two years he served in Brazil, the Joao Pessoa mission.

While he was on his mission, his parents moved to the northern midwest, ending up in Minnesota, which is where he came home to. James didn't quite like the cold....so he got a job back in good ole Las Vegas...
Where he met his lovely bride. As newly weds, we had fun working late and sleeping late. Going on trips to Disneyland, Sedona, Utah....
Then he became a daddy...which he loved.A job transfer and a 1000 mile move later....he was a daddy twice over.James, Jamie, Fannie, stinker....(not JIM).....daddy.
I love my old man. I couldn't ask for a better guy. My heart is filled with love everytime I look at you.Happy Birthday, honey.

It was only a matter of time before she posted that picture. So THAT'S what my ribs look like. I had forgotten. I'm probably more embarrassed of my Ronald McDonald fro in the picture above it.

Colton Anne...what is even more funny is that "The Bell Family" Katie, is related to us somehow. She spoke in church about Ruth Mosher Pack awhile back, which is one of her ancestors! Isn't that a small world? Isn't she Grampa's great-grandmother? Or great-great? Either way, so cool.

And he did forgive me for the diving picture...I think. I'm sure he'll remember it for the rest of his life, though! Never let me live it down!
