Yesterday, we made the trip up to the Flower Mound pumpkin patch. Jenny and I had both never been to one, so we were pretty stoked. It takes awhile to get up there, but it's so much fun, the kids have a blast, so the drive seems a bit worth it. It's definitely a two-parent excursion, though...1 parent per child! Trying to keep track of both kids is quite time-consuming. Jenny and I were there for about an hour and 1/2, give or take, and we looked at each other, saying "I'm done." LOL.

Getting the girls to pose for a picture was out of the question. One day! One day they will look at the camera and SMILE when I ask!!

They had a variety of wood characters all over, great photo-ops...

There were two awesome hay mazes....this one for the smalled kiddos, and bigger one that almost swallowed Aube up!

Awesome bounce houses!

Old school playground fun....remember merry-go-rounds? Bella had a fun ole time going 'round and 'round. Of course, after several children falling off, we remembered why schools don't have them any more!!

So glad that we got to spend some time with the Grundbergs before they head on back to the sea! We love them so much, I have found such a kindred spirit in Jenny! I'm glad that Galveston is not that far away!!

Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere!

So pretty! The farm this pumpkin patch is held on, was fantastic! (
Mom, you would have been in heaven!)

The house....with the big hay maze in front of it. (
The most gorgeous house I've ever seen.)

Happy Fall, ya'll! I love this time of year....soooo excited for Halloween tomorrow!

You are one hot mama, Sarah! Looking good! And I'm so jealous you guys have cool pumpkin patches, not just the ones they put out in a vacant lot. (like out here- pout)
Aww! Looks like you had a great first time to a pumpkin patch! Isn't that little pond awesome? And yes I agree it is a two parent activity! That is for sure!
Looks like fun! We missed it this year, Bummer! Maybe next year?
Sarah, this is my first visit to your blog but I had to comment because I love your current layout for the holiday and I love to scrapbook (when I can find the time these days!)
Also, we must live pretty close since I am only about 25 minutes from the Flower Mound pumpkin patch(es)! : )
Nice to "meet" you and Happy Halloween!
Ahh, such good pictures! I loved that house, too.
I'm glad you had a better experience than we did. Note to self, next time go with OTHER people so your kid isn't so bored by himself!
Cute pics, too!
