2 more days of 2008....I can't believe how fast it's gone. And I think to myself....what would I have done without this blog? I have posted 451 times in 2008....lots of pictures, lots of memories, some nonsense Ü. All of it so special to me!

January
Finished Twilight for the first time!
Returned home from visiting Las Vegas and Utah, celebrating Laura's wedding!
Papa visits!
Bella gets her speech tested....starts showing a love for actual drawing instead of scribbling on walls.
We get our Goldfish! Yay for pets!
James gets a new job! Yay for XTO...less hours, more pay.
Gordon B. Hinckley passes away.
February
President Thomas S Monson is called as the new Prophet.
Bella starts her speech therapy twice a week for 1/2 hr a day with Ms Lester.
James and I get callings in our ward. James as 1st counselor in the Sunday School and me as the Sharing Time Coordinator (AKA, the Fake Calling)
The Binky is FINALLY gone.
March
Played volleyball for the first time in years with ladies from my ward.
My Grandpa Sargent died. We travelled back to my hometown of Sikeston, Mo for the funeral. I was able to visit with family and friends I hadn't seen in many years.
The weather is beautiful, so I get started doing a little "landscaping" here and there around the house.
April
Flew to AZ for Lisa's baby shower.
Laura graduates from BYU-I.
Aube turns 18 months old....which means, hallelujiah, she gets to go to nursery.
Bella starts playing Blast Ball.
We get termites!
Take pictures with the Grundbergs in the bluebonnets.
I straightened Bella's hair for the first time!

The pool is finally blue!
Hyrum Michael Nelson is born!
We go camping for the first time as a family.
Squirrels in the attic!!!
I get a Wii for Mother's Day.
June
Farewell to Jenny & Co...a sad, sad day :(.
Our first Rangers game at the "castle".
James and I celebrate 7 years of marriage!
We drive to AZ for Hyrum's baby blessing....I get to shoot a shotgun for the first time in the desert!
Bella has started to become a pro at swimming, even trying to go underwater.
I try to start drinking diet soda...and fail the same day Ü.
July
We drive to Minnesota for the 4th of July! Turns out Bella isn't a fan of fireworks. We get to go to the State Fair and ride lots of fun rides!
Topher comes back home with us and stays for the month!
Grammy and Papa come to visit and pick up Topher.....Bella cracks her head on the bed and we end up at QuickCare.....but thankfully no stitches!
Started to re-paint the girls wall ;).
August
My mom visits us for a week and a half!! Bubba comes with her and we have such a blast!
While mom was visiting we took everyone to the Circus! Bella still talks about it everytime we go to downtown Ft Worth.
Broke my lawnmower.
Learned how to digiscrap.
Joshua wins SYTYCD Ü.
Called as the 1st Counselor in the Primary Presidency.
September
We celebrate 2 years in Texas.
Bella starts her new dance class and LOVES learning ballet and tap.
Made a trip to the Zoo!
Bella and Aube get their first haircuts in over a year! lol.
Bella turns FOUR!!
October
We get to go to a ranch for the XTO family picnic...the girls get to ride horses for the first time!
The girls and I visit the Flower Mound Pumpkin patch with the Grundbergs.
We have ourselves a blast at the Bellaubration! Aube turns 2!
James turns 30!
We have some fun on Halloween....Bella is Ariel and Aube is Alice in Wonderland.
November
I voted!
James and I go to a Mavs game with his client.
The Twilight movie comes out!
Thanksgiving dinner at yummy Texas de Brazil.
December
Learned how to play craps at the XTO Christmas party.
Put together a skit for the primary to do at the Ward Christmas Party.
I turn 28!!
Finally get new glasses....old ones were 6 years old!
We had a wonderful Christmas holiday...preparing for it thru out the month, and celebrating on Christmas day!
After typing all this out....I finally figured out why I am so exhausted! We've had quite the busy year. But I wouldn't change any of it...really. We've been so many places and seen so many things! I hope 2009 is just as fun!

That's a great year! And yes, I can't believe this year has gone by so fast either. I think it drags around the summer and then goes into warp speed after that until the new year;)
And I'm thinking 2009 is going to be great....at least January will, right;)

I had some "time" last night and went thru my old posts to see what we did...I'm glad I did, though cause there was alot of stuff!!

Holy cow! You posting some of those things that I was involved in and remember makes me crazy at how fast time flies. And oh, my gosh, we have both kept (most of) our fish alive for a year! Go us!
Can you believe those fish are still alive? It's a true miracle ;).
um, my fish is still alive and he fell about 4 feet off the counter onto the ceramic tile!! he was out of the water for about 5 minutes and he's still alive almost 2 days later. Freaking miracle!!!
