I'm sure my family and friends in colder places make fun of us for getting all freaked out over our winter conditions Ü. I mean, we don't get snow...we don't get negative tempatures. But ice is ice where ever you get it. I was crossing my fingers that James would make it to work in one piece. Crazy drivers. (This is from Tuesday night, and not on the roads, but crazy in itself.)
Gratefully, James was able to stay home till 11 this morning. I was hoping he'd get the day off, like most of the metroplex seemed to...but I guess the real-job stuff he does can't wait!

Hasn't the weather been so BIZARRE this year? Seriously. It was 76 degrees here on Tuesday and 47 degrees today. Mother Nature needs Prozac.
And I MISS COMING OVER TO YOUR HOUSE! Give Bella a big hug from Stevie.
Brrr!!! I hope you guys stayed warm. And yes, it doesn't matter that we don't have negative degrees. Ice is ice. And snow is snow and it's not easy for a city that doesn't normally see that kind of thing because they aren't prepared for it. I'm glad James got to work ok.
I'm tired of the roller coaster weather. Argh! And Brrr! I wish we'd get one of our dinky little snowstorms this winter...
James didn’t get to take off? That’s crazy!
He should have come worked with me at my easy-peasy job. He can’t say I didn’t offer it! :-)
What I don't get, is all the crap about global warming... frankly I WELCOME IT! If the earth is suppose to be getting warmer then why are all the places that are usually warm spots getting freezing temps and snow and us here near chicago, it just seems to get colder and colder EVERY YEAR!
I love the new picturs of your family and the girls on the side of your blog! they are awesome!
