Speech.

I've wanted to do like an "update" post...but I'm being blogazy and the Laker's are playing. Ü

But today was Bella's last day of speech therapy for the school year...and I finally got a pic of her and her teacher, Ms Lester. Bella loves her teacher...even tho she still has a hard time with "greeting". She is happy to say BYE...but that shyness overtakes her on the HI. I've always been impressed with the teacher, I really appreciate that she take a couple minutes to talk to me after each class and lets me know what they did and what I can do at home to help increase her vocabulary. I'm hoping she can continue next year with the therapy...in addition to preschool.

I wanted to make something for the teacher to say thank you...she has always been so pleasant and caring towards Bella. This gift actually goes back to last year...which is when I found the idea but never got around to making it until last night to give it to her this morning, lol. Procrastination seems to be my middle name lately. But it turned out cute...I lied and told Ms Lester that Bella helped me glue it. When in truth, I did want her to help me, but I left it till the last minute, whoops. Oh well, she did write the MS and her name, tho...hehe...no forging, I promise.
I finally made an appointment for Bella's follow-up hearing test.

Yes <----bad mom.

I obviously want the results to be negative...but the way I have to speak up sometimes to get her attention worries me. I'm crossing my fingers that she's matured enough in the last 6 months, so the test results won't be as wishy-washy as last time.

Cute gift!!! What a great idea. Is this the same teacher that we have talked about before? I hope all is ok with her hearing.

I'm betting her hearing is fine. I'm sure she has matured a lot in the last year which helps a ton with those diagnostic tests. Cute, cute, cute crayon shadow box. How did you break them so evenly?

Very cute. Maybe she has just inherited selective hearing from HIS side of the family (cuz we girls never do that!)
