For example:
Aube: "I want to go swimming, Mommy."
Mommy: "No, not right now, it's too early and we have to go shopping anyways, maybe this afternoon."
Aube: "Afternoon! We go to the big TV and see Sleeping Beauty. No, we see Mulan...gibber gabber mish mash."
But I guess such is life...I know I hear things completely different in certain conversations.
James: "Don't spend any money today, ok?"
Me-the-money-spender: "Money, we have money, I love money, spend it, spend it, spend it, OK!!!"
OR
James: "What are you going to cook for dinner tonite?"
Me: "Sure, I'd love to go out to eat!"

I hear the same things when Derek talks so it must be a problem with the boys. They have to be what's broken in all of the miscommunication.
You are hilarious!!!!! I especially giggled at 1) Aube's gibberish and 2) the "I'd love to go out to dinner". I think I'm going to try that one tonight.
LOL!!!!
You are so funny Sarah! I love the way your mind works!! :)
Kids are so funny. I love the gibberish.
I have been going out to eat a lot, too. I've decided it's too hot to cook.
