The latest and greatest.

As always, I took as many pictures as I could during our trip...as many as my camera would allow, that is (we are having difficulties). Which means....I have to do this in several posts...esp since when I uploaded my pictures, they uploaded in this random order...my feeble mind has to remember exactly which order everything belongs in...not an easy task! Ü

We left Texas at about 4:30am on Thursday...which gave me about 2 hours of sleep after getting off work...so, needless to say, I missed most of the trip because I was sleeping (or trying to). I knew this trip would be different, since the girls are getting bigger and don't have to be constantly entertained. But of course, I forgot the dvd's AND the cable for the dvd player....so we had about 3 hours of watching the one dvd we had...then the player died. That's about 13 hours of non-dvd-watching travel time that was a tad bit trying...but we made it, thank goodness!
Driving in our small car is a pain in the butt. I'm ecstatic that our next long-driving trip will be in a van (which we are buying in December). James might actually let me drive!! lol. All-in-all the drive wasn't that bad (James might have a different story)....all 945 miles. It was worth it, though...the entire family on James' side was gathered together in Minnesota...and we have such a blast together, it's ridiculous. The main event was Topher's Eagle Court of Honor. We spent Friday setting up at the park where he had actually done his Eagle project, cutting hair and letting the cousins play. They were so happy to see each other! And I was happy to get a cut & style from the one-and-only Lisa. No more ponytail :(.
More to come! But like I said before, my apologies for the crap-tastic pictures. My camera is on the fritz, which makes me want to cry...what will I do without my camera!?!

We bought a van in April since March we learned of our addition and we had to get a new car anyway. We actually love it! I never ever thought I would say that, but it's so practical. You will love yours.

Those decorations are adorable, how fun!
