Minnesota Children's Museum

I would have posted about this yesterday, but for some reason Blogger didn't want to upload any of my pictures...so I had to upload ONE BY ONE. Seriously annoying. But it's ok, cause it's worth it.

Last Monday, we were looking for something to entertain the kids with...so we decided to check out the Minnesota Children's Museum in St Paul. It was the best decision, that place was so cool! I think the adults even enjoyed their time there!
I love this picture...we put stickers on the little kiddo's backs so they wouldn't tear them off... The first thing to do was to let them paint their faces. They had this little kiosk set up with mirrors at just the right height.

Sweet Kaleb slept thru most of it...
There was this water section that was so neat...the kiddos had a ton of fun playing and getting soaked.
Mom and daughter....or sisters, as people always say!
The boys....trying to get all the pingpong balls up in the top tube....
Racing their boats...
Kari and Kaleb....

We could have spent all week there and the kids wouldn't have gotten tired of it.
They went "shopping like mommy"...so cute.

The Rooftop ArtPark was filled with water painting, sand sculpting, chalk drawing and a wooden climbing thing where you could see alot of St Paul.

Water painting is such a fun idea! I need to incorporate this more at home!
Inside again, the last place we visited was Earth World. Aunt Lisa took the chicken girlies up into this cool tree.
There were lots of places to dress up....Rylee pretended to be a turtle.
And so did Uncle James. Ü

Our group! We really did have a lot of fun that day. But when we are all together, it's always entertaining.
James drew the short straw and got the back-back seat. Supposedly, he mooned us in the car behind him. Nice...
I've always wanted to take the kids to a Children's Museum, since I've heard cool things about them thru friends. I'm going to have to try the one at the Dallas Museum of Nature & Science and it looks like there is a small one at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History.

Children's museums are so much fun! My kids really liked the Dallas museum when we went a few months ago. And I'm really excited about taking them to the museum in Fort Worth when it finally reopens later this year.

There's a place in Lees Summit called Paradise Park just like this...so fun!! Also, try water painting with chalk. YOu have the kids write with chalk and then paint over it with water...my girls love it!! :)

How fun, it looks a lot like the Children's Museum we went to in Houston. We should take the girls to the one in Dallas, I didn't even know they had one until your blog.

The girls will like both of the museums around here. Derek and I like taking Ash, even when she was older.
