This past weekend, we were invited to go and celebrate this little cutie turning 2. We've been friends with her and her mommy & daddy since before she was born. I went to the baby shower for her mom! I can't believe that was 2 years ago!!
Cheree held the party at a park and it was a hit...they had it earlier in the morning, so the weather was just perfect! Combined with a great breeze, ducks and a playground...my girlies were in heaven.
I do have to say that the party favors were THE BEST that I have come across in my 'years' of party-going and party-planning. Seriously genius. A combination of stickers, a whistle (
that has since disappeared, wonder why), banana candy, a SPRAY BOTTLE and duck food (
bread crumbs)....it was a hit.
The girls were pretty antsy to go and feed the geese. I made them sit with me and watch Miss C make out like a bandit in the present department.

They were nice geese, too...I have bad duck memories from my childhood...being pecked and chased by those darn ducks at Sunset Park in Vegas!
There was even a little overlook on the pond....where you could look down and see a plethora of fish and turtles!
They got to swing and play for a bit...for some reason the play area was stinkin' hot...so mommy & daddy wimped out after awhile Ü.
Waaaaa....it's hot. But as soon as we walked back up to the pavillion...we were good.
We left soon after and stopped at Raising Cane's for some chicken fingers. It was a good {expensive} lunch...somewhere we have wanted to try for awhile...one of those one-time restaurants. Aube ate a good helping of ketchup....so yummy, yet so gross.

I’m so glad you guys came – and that you had a good time. Wouldn’t have been nearly as fun without you. And Cane’s is one of Tony’s favorite places.
