I've meant to do this post all week....first I skipped over it on Monday, thinking "oh I'll do it Tuesday" but then skipped it again because I had a popcorn-buzz from the movies...then it was WedsThursnowit'sFriday. Seriously. Where did the week go? It's not a sad thing...I'm so excited for fall I could scream. And there's so much going on in the coming months, it's gonna be fantastic!
This past weekend, like this past week, went by a tad too fast. We took Emily to the airport to fly back to Utah, before that I showed up to a baby shower that doesn't take place till this weekend....whoops, and we did our grocery shopping, which we do together now and it takes entirely too long! :)
I ordered Bella her first pair of REAL Crocs....yes I did...and I love, love, love them. They are usually a bit too expensive for my taste to buy for kids, so I make the girls wear the knock-offs, but Crocs.com was having a buy one, get one 1/2 off sale. Which made them just as much as the knock-offs. BUT...there is always a catch. I get the box...and find ONE pair, not two like I ordered (I have this thing where I buy the girls the same shoes...its easier, less fighting). AND...there is no invoice or anything in this box either. So, I spend 1/2 an hour on hold on the customer service line...only to find out they are closed on the weekends. I waited till Monday and called again, only to be on hold for another 30 minutes. I finally get "Carrie" on the line and she tells me they are out of stock, so they just shipped me the one and charged full priced. I kindly explained to her that the ONLY reason I bought these shoes was for the discount! And you know what she did? She said, well...watch for them to come in stock and I'll give you that second pair at the discounted price. So, we shall see....it's annoying but it's not like I've never overspent on a pair of shoes before. Bella loves them...sometimes I think she forgets she has them on b/c they are so light weight. Ü
Aube has become a huge fan of taking EVERYTHING IN HER ROOM to bed with her at night. This was the beginning, when she first got into bed. By the time she fell asleep, it was so crowded she was falling off the bed. Also, she refuses to go anywhere without that horse and Princess Finona.
So, there ya go...all-in-one. This coming weekend is going to be not so fun....I have to be in two places at once at 11am tomorrow, don't quite know how that's gonna work out....and then I get to take a nap (sigh) then go to Stake leadership training, then to work till 3am! It may not sound like much...but for me, Queen of sitting on the couch and all I want to do it make this, it's ALOT.

Go Bulldogs!!! :) That's so exciting.. and I am too breaking out like a 14 year old.. Its driving me nuts!!! :)
That sounds like a busy week;) And a busy day tomorrow! I just like to eat pancakes and watch the race on Saturdays!! I'm glad you at least got a nap scheduled! And I'm seriously going to have to get a can of nacho sauce. I can't believe how much it is in the little jars and we eat it all the time!! Did you get it at a place like Smart and Final?
Are the Bulldogs college??? I don't really know about college but I love football!!! When are you going?
The Bulldogs are my high school team! I don't know anything about football and don't like it much...but I'm excited to see the band play!
And we got the sauce at Albertsons. All the grocery stores have a "bulk" area...where you can get large cans of mayo, ketchup, pickles...and nacho cheese!
YAY!! Can't wait to see you guys at the reunion and the football game!!
Dude...I was looking at Marisa's pictures of her reunion last year...and they had this big Meet-n-Greet tailgate party thing before the FB game...have you heard of anything like that happening with ours?
Oh gotcha!! I didn't realize it was when you went back home! Too fun!!
No...there was no mention of the FB game in the invitation...so I'm kinda confused about what's going on with that Friday night. But that would be fun!
I was thinking of messaging Laura about it...maybe suggesting it. In the pictures, it kinda looked like the boosters put it together? So maybe there would be a way to contact one of them and have them set it up for us. Anyways...surely we could make it happen! :)
All we could do is try :)
You are gonna have SO much fun!! I'm so glad you posted... I was missing you!
When is your reunion? We'll be driving through Sikeston in Sept on our way to Grandmas and then to Florida to Jans and then to New Orleans for our cruise, then we'll have to drive back after our cruise through Sikeston again. That would be so cool if we were there at the same time!! Let me know and we could maybe work something out!
Oh! That would be sooo cool! :) We're driving up Friday, Sept 18th, then back that Sunday afternoon. If it doesnt work out, we are definitely going to stop by on our way to Minnesota in December! :) Your trip sounds so fun!!
So I didn't have to start going to the dermatologist until I was 25!!
I love mine and I will give you all the info so you can see if it is covered by your plan. He is really good about giving lots of samples so I am not spending a ton on prescriptions.
I would love that Jenni! :) Do you have my email? massagethpst80 at yahoo dot com
I seriously dreamed about nacho cheese the day you posted this! Zits aren't allowed to surface when you're over 18! Don't they know that??
