Yesterday, I walk into the family room to find Aube with scissors in her hand and a lap full of blond hair. And the guiltiest look on her face....
Of course, the first thing I did was take a picture. Wait....I take that back. I took the scissors from her (
good mommy) THEN I took a picture. Which is why I don't quite know if she thought she was in trouble for what she did. Darn picture taking addiction, ruining my parenting skills! She did let me know that scissors are "only for paper"...so maybe it did sink in a bit.
I trimmed it up last night before we headed to church for meetings. Yeah. Didn't make much of a difference. Which is why there is no "after" picture. Ü After is the before, unfortunately! It stinks, cause she cut it at this funky angle and part of it is just way short! Oh well...we'll have to practice a bit more before she starts her career as a hair stylist.

that is the BEST expression!! I had a friend that took a nap on the couch and when she woke up her daughter had given her a haircut........so this is much better!! Haha. Aubree is still very beautiful. It looks pretty good though, almost can't tell, just tell people that Aunt Lisa was experimenting with a new style....:)

I think Aube did a great job! Maybe I should have her cut Caedyn’s bangs! :-)
She is a cutie. I cut my sisters hair when I was little, so cutting your own hair is probably better than that.
I like the bangs (with a slight layered look) - it accents her BEAUTIFUL BLUE EYES!!! You can just read her mind in that first picture... and yes, you are a good mommy!! Love you all!
I didn't cut my own hair, just two of my younger sisters. After the third time my MOM attacked me with the shears and it was pretty short and bad by the time someone else evened it out.
Aww, she looks cute! Even though I was digging the bob- maybe she felt it needed sprucing up a bit!
