This spring when I read The Time Traveler's Wife....I would have never thought it could be made into a movie. It was a confusing book to read...what with the jumping around from date to date...and the end of the book, I'd think back and have many "aha" moments. But I was very impressed with this book...it's a very heart-wrenching story.
To those wanting to see this movie, I say: GO SEE IT. But first...read the book. It will be worth it and you won't be left going "What the heck?" in the theater. They did a SPECTACULAR job on this film, in my opinion....pulling from each important part of the book and mashing it all together into something funny, lovely and oh so tear-jerking (maybe I'm just a big goob).

Hmm...what shall I read next? They seem to be turning a bunch of my fave's into movies these days! Any requests....maybe I can use some of my 'pull'! Ü haha

I've really been thinking about seeing this one. I'm not sure if I could handle it though---the book just DESTROYED me at the end. So tragic!! But I'm very intrigued about the movie, nonetheless. I'm interested in seeing how they make it make sense.
You are not a goob, lol! I was crying too! Thanks for going with me, I love that you're my movie buddy. :)
I want to see this!!! Lovely Bones too - I didn't know that was being made into a movie. I've read both of those books. (I used to read a lot - how is it that I totally stopped when Caedyn got here? How do YOU find time to read?!) :-)
So i went to go see if the Libraries here have it.. and there are 120 people in line waiting for the 10 copies of the Book on CD!!! Can you believe it? So then I went to see if they had it in book form.. yeah. over 200 people waiting.. :( I should have taken your offer in march to read it!! hehe!
Jessica, Mary, and I went to go see it last night since our husband's probably wouldn't enjoy it as much...what a tear jerker! I personally didn't like all the bum shots though!! I thought they were pushing it for a PG-13! I'm anxious to read the book though!
