And then, they were able to decorate their own cupcakes. Thank you to all the helpful mommies!
Aube is a minimalist...I'm surprised she even let anyone put icing on!
Some cuties didn't hold back! I can't remember, but did she like the hot stuff??
Fruit loops and chocolate chips and sprinkles!
Then we sang, Happy Birthday...while shielding the flame from the fan that wouldn't turn off.
I had one more game after eating cupcakes and before opening presents. It was called Pass the Magic Present. The 'fairy' that wrapped the present for Bella and Aube was so silly and wrapped it EIGHT TIMES, can you believe that? And on each layer of wrapping paper was a CLUE, telling us where to find gifts for all the little fairies.

A Fairy Party for my girls...
This past Saturday, I threw a birthday party for my girls. About a month ago, I found a few ideas for a fairy party that I fell in love with....and using those ideas, I think it went pretty well! When the girls first got there, they put on flower tiara's and tutu's I made especially for the lot of them. And they got to go and decorate a wand with tulle and ribbon. James then put the food out on a small table, so they could all help themselves to fruit, pretzels and (of course) Goldfish.
Aube helped herself to a few plate fulls....
And then more platefulls...lol. She just couldn't help herself...too bad she only ate like 2 bites!
Bella, decorating her wand. The party was right after dance class, so they were both still in their get-up.
After they ate, we played Musical Toadstools. The person left standing without a toadstool was the WINNER of a sticker (had to put a fun spin on it...no loser fairy's here!).

Ah...that looks so fun!! I wish we lived closer:( Makenna would have loved that!! Good job! Love ya.
Looks like fun. Too bad I'm a little too old to be in their peer group!
What a GREAT party! Why can't I be 5 again??? You think I'm too big for a tutu?
Why didn't James dress up? He used to wear his fairy princess outfit all the time to school. Is he too cool now to put it on again.
It doesn't fit anymore, Zeke. Go back to drawing with your sidewalk chalk.
