Happy Halloween!!

It's been a busy busy day...I stayed up WAY too late last night (3am...after getting off work at 1) finishing up the girls' costumes...I kinda procrastinated just a bit. Whoops. And when we were dressing the girls to head out for the Fall Festival at church...I was a bit worried that all my 'hard' work would be in vain...since Aube said "I can't be a snowman" Ummm...YES you can!
But then we gave her a corncob pipe and she was good to go....tho we had to pass on the button nose. Such a stinker.
My theme for the girls this year was Christmas. For two reasons. 1) I'm uber-excited for Christmas this year and 2) the Star hat you see on Bella was made by her Grammy for Uncle Topher when he was a baby! So it was really cool to see her wearing it tonite!
The Fall Festival was a lot of fun! The Primary was in charge of a 'craft room' where the kids made bags for their candy and had opportunities to write Christmas letters to the missionaries. There was also a bounce house outside, a dunking booth, bobbing for apples, a cake walk, etc...yummy frito pies. The girls had a ton of fun.

One of these years I want to dress up for Halloween!!! I can never think of anything I can do last minute...since you know I would procrastinate that as well.
I'm very proud of the Trick or Treat bags I made for the girls this year. (Don't look to close, tho...I don't have a sewing machine and had to hand stitch, eek) If you can't tell, I'm a little obsessed with letter applique....I admit it. You should see what I have up my sleeve for Christmas presents....oh yes, it's gonna be a doozie. (hopefully)
I hope everyone had a lovely and safe Halloween!!! Yay for Daylight savings time and NOVEMBER!!!

Anyway you can spill the beans on your Christmas surprises? That way maybe I can copy you and pretend I’m all creative?! :-)

Oh – and James. Maybe that was a hint to get your wife a sewing machine for Christmas? Common – all the girls have ‘em! :-)

Oh wow - my last comment posted 3 times?! How in the world did that happen? Impatient maybe?
