...decided to dump all the leaves from my trees this past week, not that I didn't know it would happen....but it's still annoying....and I'm totally using the "I'm preggo" excuse this year. No raking leaves for me......well, maybe.
The trees in our yard are so pretty for like, a day. Then the next day they are all nekkid, ugly and lumpy...and no I'm not talking about myself. haha.....ha.

It's a good thing I have two good little helpers. Bella actually does a good job at keeping the front sidewalk swept...and they LOVE to run and jump in the piles they make. 
And they decided the front bushes weren't losing their leaves fast enough...so they helped the poor thing along.
It's definitely headed in the Fall direction nowadays...jackets and shoes yesterday, but today was back to sandal weather. We get pretty chilly at night since our heater needs a-fixin'. I'm thinking we can brave the cold it like the pioneers this winter...lol...warm some bricks in the fireplace and place them at the foot of the bed. That would TOTALLY work, right?

Fall weather there.. Winter-like weather here!! I'm having to wear my coat out now! So not cool.. hehe.. And I've been using the "I'm preggo" excuse for a while now and its not helping me out :) hehe..

Stevie loves the idea of jumping in leaves---unfortunately we haven't had enough to jump into.
We just have pine trees in our yard. So lots of pine needles in the summer, but no fun leaves to jump into in the fall. But I'm not too sad about not having to rake leaves.
We went one winter with basically no heater. When we first moved in we had window A/C units and a big floor heater. Then the floor heater died.
I wish we had leaves to rake and jump into.. but our mesquite trees only have thorns and ugly leaves! What good helpers you have!
