Ready, set, go......

Those are Bella's favorite words when she is trying to "jump" off something in her 2yr old way! She'll say "Ready, set..." and expect me to say GO! Of course, jumping for her is more of a body movement then actually getting off the floor! So...I'm making the move! I'm gonna jump right into this world of blogging....mostly to help family and friends keep up with us here in TX! We moved from Las Vegas to this big ole state and miss everyone so much back home!! But things are looking up here, the rain has stopped (thank goodness) and our new-to-us home is getting into shape!
Saturday's go by way too fast! I did a massage this morning and it totally reminded me how much I miss it! I don't miss the aching hands and back, but I do miss helping people feel better :). After I got home we went on an outing to Home Depot, which has become our favorite place.....James got a weed whacker and I got myself some decorative rocks! I just love that store! I now have a huge yard and I totally cannot decide what kind of plants to buy or where to put them....I definitely do not have a green thumb....its more of a WEED thumb...cause my plants are dying and the weeds are growing high!!!
Speaking of weeds....James' poison oak is healing up nicely. I dont think he would say that, b/c I heard him in there spraying his legs just now. Gotta love Lanacaine! Yes...we do have poison oak in our back yard...or i should say we DID! It was growing around the pool filter, and James had no clue what it was and had been stepping all in it....thinking that the red bumps on his legs were mosquito bites! Silly California James! Never been out hiking in the real woods! Well, since our backyard IS the woods....he has his chance now!
We are in the process of cleaning it out, cutting back the growth, but still trying to maintain the green :). That deck is no more...James and his dad ripped it up, and good thing b/c it had been rigged and was sitting on concrete blocks! We thought it felt a little unstable!
OK, so thanks for bearing with me in my first post....hopefully I can get more entertaining as time goes along!! There is so many things that the girls do that cracks James and I up....I'll have to make sure and share!

Sarah,
Great blog. In fact, the best blog that any of my kids have done.
