I have been lucky, there has only been two deaths in my extended/immediate family in my lifetime. My great grandmother, who was at the young age of 99, and my Uncle Ed, who was killed by a member of the church. Yesterday, one of his granddaughters passed from this world. She was only 6 months old, and had a heart condition that was not known about until yesterday. Dr's say it was a cardiomyopathy, a heart disease with unknown origin, and also a cardiomegaly, which is an abnormal nlargement of the heart. Little angel Kathryn's heart was just too big for this world. No words can express how broken my heart is for my cousin Jan Ellen. I am so thankful that we have the Gospel in our lives. To know of its truthfulness and to know that sweet, beautiful child is safe in the arms of our Savior and in the arms of her grandfather. I know without a doubt that my uncle was standing there, waiting for her. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for this child, as he does for us all. I am so grateful for the power of eternal families, for the knowledge that the Sanders family has been sealed for time and all eternity and will be together in the life hereafter. Though it will feel like a lifetime for that family, it will only be a blink for Kathryn. I pray that they can find some comfort in their souls!
Please keep my family in your hearts and prayers.

That is very sad to hear. I think our Heavenly Father has had a lot of need for the very young spirits lately because a few people I know have lost babies in the past year. While it's very sad and heartbreaking, it's a joy to know that we have the plan of salvation!
