It's Bella's Birthday month...I know it seems selfish, but in our family, just one day doesn't seem to cut it. So, we keep the celebration going the WHOLE month. Of course, that will cause a problem next month....James really wanted Aubree to be born in November. But she stole his thunder and took the 18th, while his is on the 26th.
Bella turns 3 this month, and I am very excited. I'm planning her a big shin-dig for the 29th. So, those of you in town better mark your calendars, and those of you out-of-town better get busy buying those plane tickets! ;)
Since we have gotten back from our trip, Bella has taken her girliness to another level.
For example....I dress her in a skirt maybe 4 out of 7 days, even if I know we aren't going anywhere....b/c on the other 3 days, she usually strips herself down and puts on a dress up skirt anyways.
And then last night, when I was getting ready for my "Girl's Night" putting on makeup...she brought her stool in so she could stand next to me, and proceeded to "apply" her makeup :). It's so funny watching little kids put on makeup...like...just applying the eyeshadow to one cheek and that's it...applying lipstick to the chin....so entertaining.
Of course, she was all ready for a night out on the town and was severely disappointed when I couldn't take her with me!

Yes, chin and cheek....she would first smear it on her hand, then wipe hand to chin/cheek...i'll have to teach her the correct way before its too late and she's in high school with lipstick like a clown ;)
