Events of the day

Tonight was the first night of our stakes women's volleyball tournament...and guess what...we are UNDEFEATED so far, yup...ain't that grand. We really pulled it together and played well! I'm so sad that I'm going to miss the games next Friday, especially the one against the Waxahatchie ward, they looked totally competitive and ready to play! But I can't say I would trade my "mini-vacation" for anything Ü. I'm learning that I have some really great chicks in my ward, and they have some pretty cool non-member friends. And hopefully they are learning that I'm not such a spaz ....seriously, I'm not! Anyways....I had a ton of fun, even got to go with a few of them to Olive Garden afterwards, we managed to slip in and get rude looks from the hostess, but our server didn't care that we were the last ones there, so hopefully we avoided spit in our pasta.

Today was an eventful day, too! I learned the "art" of digital scrapbooking with Jenny from Bonnie Ü. I have been itching to learn this since I've seen what wonderful work my friend, Christina has done. The University of Bonnie went really well, she is a very good teacher....and as soon as I get ahold of PhotoShop, it's ready...set...go!
(Don't worry, Aunt Karen....paper-scrapping will always be #1 in my heart!)

I am so glad you came over. I had so much fun with you and Jenny. I'm only sorry that we ran out of time and didn't get to do a layout for you. Maybe I'll travel out to Arlington in the next week or two to give you guys another lesson. It is so much fun and free!

Aww....Jen, you are awesome too!!! I wish I could be around YOU on a daily basis!!
And Bonnie....thank you for having us over, I wouldn't even mind making another trip over there, since you already have all the stuff downloaded....even though I AM trying to get a collection of my own! Ü

Ditto Jen!! I feel the same way.
I think I might have someone in my ward that is going to show me how to do that digital stuff. I hope so cause I just can't get into the regular kind. It's too hard to get it all out for the little time that the girls are asleep. By the time I get started, I have to put it all up again. You will have to give me some tips when you are a pro at this new stuff;) Can you use that program that you used for vintage Bella to scrapbook too? I think you should print that out. It was too cute!

I'm so glad you are making friends in your new ward, and friends with their friends! It's so hard when you feel like there's not anyone you can relate to at all. I'm excited to see what you do with the digital scrapbooking.
