Our 1st FHE!

We were successful in our first (just realized that) Family Home Evening endeavor last night. Not easy trying to teach a lesson to toddlers, we had flashbacks of being Sunbeam teachers! Thank goodness for team-teaching, even in a short FHE.
We made our Gratitude Turkeys!Mine and Bella/Aube's was quite uniform.
Daddy and Bella/Aube's was quite creative! Thank you for coconut, tutu's, our chickens....
We treated ourselves to pumpkin cupcakes (my fave and thank goodness there aren't any left!)
Then James entertained us by trying to light a match with his teeth...you know, like you see on TV. Turns out its not that easy...in fact, his teeth just aren't match-lighting material.
You ask, where and why did he come up with an idea like that? Probably just power of suggestion...since I have this ginormous bag(s) of matches sitting on the counter. My leftovers from the advent calendars I'm getting ready for our Primary party. Anyone need matches? Cause this is just from 10 advent calendars! I have to make 15 more!! Cutie pie Bella, enjoying her cupcake cake. Poor hair! Thats what happens after being out and about in the rain!

The Family Home Evening sounds like it turned out great! And I love the turkey idea, I think I'll have to try it out on my kids.

Oh my goodness, I'm going to completely steal this entire FHE idea and say it was my own.

No one will believe me, unfortunately.
