Oh my goodness!!! I finally finished 47 handmade baby shower invites, each with individual touches (
cause I actually used the papers I had on hand instead of buying a bunch of stuff to make them the same). My sister-in-law, Lisa and I are throwing our sister, Kari, a baby shower in Las Vegas next Friday. I offered to do the invites, cause it's something I love to do! Well, I got in over my head on this one...especially since she had FORTY-SEVEN names on the list!! Yikes. I mailed them out today...a bit last minute, so hopefully they will get there in time. Surely they will!!! (
crossing fingers)

I told myself this would be my last project like this for awhile, especially with my trip coming up fast. But then I made this:
James' Valentine's gift/card
etc, etc....

Great Job on the shower invites!! Those are adorable!! You crafty gal! What a fun idea for James! I would have NEVER thought of that! The ones you chose to "showcase" are hilarious!! :) Especially the "nasal cavity" one!! I am not lucky enough to put that on a card. My nasals get burned on a daily basis!!! ick.
Gosh Sarah have I told you yet how jealous I am of your fabulous craftiness! :) I love the gift you made for James, when you told me about it the other day I didn't know you put pictures on each of the card, I am going to have to do that for Aaron next year.
I love the invites- looks like a lot of work! :)
And the playing cards idea is so cute! Thanks for sharing your craftiness.
Martha, Martha, Martha! Soo freaking cute!! Crafty thang you!
Love the shower invites. Love the cards made into a valentine's card. Very cleaver (sp?). I bet he got a kick out of it and loved it!
Yes, I loved it. Especially the googly eyes.
Those are awesome!! You do such a good job!!
The invites are adorable!! Do you do card making tutoring?! I have a ton of paper that I am dying to turn into blank cards but have no idea where to start. And nothing nearly so complicated as overalls. Just pretty square blank cards.
And I love the 52 things book. Very cute.
I would never have the time to do any of this but I so admire your talent.
Wow! Those look great (both crafty projects)!
Very very cute!
You are pretty much amazing Saha! I love yer guts! THanks for making those!! I can't wait to see you!
