A List.

~James got tickets to go to Disney on Ice tonite in Ft Worth. Bella thinks we are going to Disneyland, and I have to tragically remind her: "No, Disney on ICE, not Disneyland...it's the same thing, but not."

~I read and finished New Moon this week. I think it's going to make a seriously amazing movie. Hopefully the budget will include on-location shots in Italy? Pretty please? Thats a short part, but it would be cool to see it. Speaking of parts in that book, as I was reading I was reminded how much I felt for Bella when Edward leaves her with the gaping hole in her chest (I think most of us have felt that at least once in our lives). And also, how I loved Bella's delusions of Edward when she was engaging in her "Extreme Sports."

~My girls have been treating me like a queen, making me food while I sit here at the computer. See, Aube made me eggs this morning for breakfast. She says "It's hoooooooooooot." Thanks, sweets.
~I've been trying to get a few projects done before we leave again next weekend. They are petty projects, we've been lucky (knock on wood) to have nothing major to do but live our lives. I've been making bows/flowers for hair, sewing up my new skirt I tore the first day I wore it (grrr), keeping Bella from wearing and changing into her new skirts (skirt is the theme for Cancun) constantly, and of course the regular duties...helping with the Primary activity, preparing teacher appreciation gifts, and trying to come up with a fun Sharing Time for Sunday. See what I mean? Nada mucho.
~Trying to get Aube off of her juice bottle. We had a bit of a relapse with all the travelling we did while out west. The easiest way to ease Aube is to give her a bottle of one part juice, four parts water. It's annoying and embarassing (cause YES, I know she's too old) but for one, I worry about her being constipated and uncomfortable, since she refuses to drink anything but water from sippee cups....and for another, the only way we made it thru the ER experience was letting her hold onto that thing. But this week we've worked on it, dealt with the whining, so she's back down to just the one in the manana. I've been going back and forth on getting rid of that one this week...just throwing all the bottles away. But (there's always a BUT) do I risk her being constipated in Cancun? Cause it's literally PAINFUL to even just watch the poor kid. James says just let her drink the water there and we won't have any problem (ummmm, just kidding). Anyways....such is the life of a mommy...always have to be talkin' about poo.

Love the flower!! Have fun at Disney! That sounds awesome!
I'm thinking waiting just another week until after Cancun won't hurt so she stays regular and happy in Cancun and then just take them away completely when you get home. Jordyn wouldn't drink her milk at all out of sippys but I wouldn't give her a bottle and she eventually drank out of one. It was so hard because I wanted her to have her milk but they will once they figure out that it's all they are going to get;) If you can handle doing enemas until she figures it out...;-} And you need not worry about how old she is. We mommys do things on our time table and what we think our babies time table is!

Sounds like lots of fun things going on. I tried to get my boys to want to go to Disney on Ice (we could get free tickets) but they weren't interested!! Crazy kids.
