I'm sure everyone knows this...especially those that travel with small children. I thought that it would get easier over time...we travel A LOT...more than the norm. But it just doesn't. The worst thing when packing for a trip that includes anyone but yourself is that you just don't know what to expect! Which is why I pack EVERYTHING. Ugh. So annoying.
I've limited myself to 2 big suitcases, one for the girls and one for me & the extra stuff...plus one smaller suitcase for James (since he has "proclaimed" that he would pack his own stuff this trip...to show me I don't have to bring so much crap...I dunno. It's annoying tho...we leave in 2 days and he hasn't packed a thing, but I have! sneaky, sneaky...slowly but surely).
I've been told what the hotel offers, so I can know what to leave home. I've also been told that we'll be in bathing suits all day, so other clothes really aren't needed. But can I bring just a few sets of clothes? NO! Each one of us has a set of clothes for each day. JUST. IN. CASE. I'm a freak, I can't help it. For the last 2 days, I've been sifting thru the days worth of clothes trying and TRYING to leave things out.
And...the girls are sick, YAY! Bleh. Mostly sniffles with a bit of a fever. I'm hoping enough rest and chicken noodle soup over the 24 hours will coax them into better health! Bella is the epitomy of pathetic tonight, as she lays on the couch muttering "I'm sick".

Ahhh!!! I hope the girls are better soon. I hate the packing too. Of course you have to bring clothes too. I would get tired of being in a bathing suit 24/7. They really aren't that comfortable;-) Enjoy!!
Just bring a bikini, some flip flops, and a sundress. Ok, maybe some sunscreen... I hope the girls get better in time and that y'all have a BLAST! Did I mention I'm jealous?

it never gets any easier. Sounds like your doing all the right stuff! Hope your girls get better in time...that would be a bummer if they don't....but regardless have a great time!!!!!!!

I hate packing and I have to pack for Nick usually too as we usually try to leave as soon as he gets off work! But he knows not to complain if I forget something of his. Packing for 4 people is stressful as it is!
