One more week...

....and then this little girl goes off to Kinder.
This is how I still see her...so it's heartwrenching to even imagine her not being around all day long, asking "Mommy, what are we gonna do?".
Yes, I will be the mom bawling on her first day...
I'm so excited for her to go and learn and be a big kid, the love I have for her just spills out!
I've been trying to take a hint from We talk of Christ, We Rejoice in Christ and her Life Lessons Preschool. So, I try to take moments each day to go over some things with Bella, some preparation...
such as:
We LOVE you. No matter what.
Choose the Right...when kids are doing something bad, it's ok to not do what they do!
It's ok to make mistakes...just try, try again.
Listen to your teacher and learn as much as you can.
Be HAPPY!

And as I've been talking with her, she asks me why I'm so sad (because I can't help but get emotional), and all I can really tell her is,
Sweetie...I just love you that much.

I'm excited for our 'last week' of summer...I'm hoping we can do fun things and just BE together as a family. It's not like I'm sending her away to boarding school or something...but it's hard to let a part of yourself detach and go off on it's own Ü.

Did we really give her popsicle boxes to play with back then? Don't make me cry too. I'm working.

Sarah, can't say that it gets any easier.... Topher made a comment the other day, "I will have these shorts until they wear out, I don't think that I will outgrow anything again." MY BABY!!! He can't be done growing, that means he will leave me soon. AHHH!!! You go ahead and cry honey you have earned that right!! She is such a sweet little girl, Glad I am her "Grammy".

Tell him he still has some growing to do, it just might be horizontal instead of vertical.
