Burn baby burn

For dinner on Rainy Tuesday
I thought it would be fun to broil
some hamburgers...since we have never
invested in a grill
(which we couldn't have used anyways with the rain)
But I set the rack too high up...
and smoke, baby, smoke!!
They didn't actually catch on fire...
some of the grease did...but nothing too serious.
Didn't have to bust out the fire extinguisher!

James did, however, manage to
open all our windows...
which I didn't think was possible!
And we even got to turn on the attic fan...
the smoke was gone fast!

You are so lucky to have an attic fan, those things ROCK! We had one in my house growing up and we LOVED turning it on in the summers. Man. That brings back memories! And yes we had to turn ours on too on a handful of occasions like you did!

Hey, the bright side to all of this is now you can open those windows when it is cool outside! Yay! And isn't it so nice to have husbands around to help us in a pinch? Not that we would ever admit it, hehehe...

Yes I do admit there are situations that happen to me and after they happen I think....How can I blog this?! LOL....oh well, we all do it, don't lie!
James gets "make fun of Sarah" material every single day of my life...its fabulous!
I had an attic fan growing up, too! They are fabulous!
I still can't open the windows, except in emergencies...cause the screens are all crazy ripped and I don't need a house full of mosquitoes!

Man! So that means no bright side other than a fun story to share with us? Bummer!
