On the road...

The trip there...
Bella smartly brought her sunglasses
and Aubree went waa-waa-waa
all the way home...

In Texarkana...
we un-wisely chose to eat at
a sitdown place (when I say we, I mean me).
And thought it hilarious that there
was a place called "Bryce's Cafeteria"
And..sorry, Bryce...they are totally
not doing you justice...

Aube "pretend eating"
since she decided to be on a fast
for the whole trip...

Arkansas is a naturally beautiful state...
but (sorry Kelly) that is about all I can say...

Even though...Missouri isn't any better off,
I am learning...
Cause for one: no one takes credit cards
And for two: the traffic lights still turn
to blinking yellow at 11.
And I totally feel bad b/c the whole drive
TO Sikeston, I was defending the town
against James' remarks...
But then leaving...I felt glad to have been raised there
and I am thankful for all my memories.
But thank goodness for Home Sweet Home.

Um yeah, if you found any beauty in Arkansas, you found more than us!!!! This state stinks...literally!!! Hey, come on. Missouri has the arch and all going for it. Okay maybe not much else:) How did you end up at a crappy hotel? You lived there once. How did that happen??:) Maybe you did or didn't see there's no more Ramada, not that it WAS nice!!! But it was bulldozed to the ground a year or so ago.

I'm glad your back and that everything went well. There's nothing like the risk of an shifty diner on a road trip. Hey, I finished these AWESOME books, now how should I get them back to you? :)

We too are glad you are back at home sweet home! Road trips are always...interesting! LOL, we always pray for a memorable time, and then we forget to pray for GOOD memories! I will have to tell you about the shady hotel we stayed in the first night of our "honeymoon"...it had a red heart hot tub...um, yeah.

I’m glad you guys had a safe trip and are back home. You’re going to have to tell me how to plan for a successful road trip with a little one. Are there tricks?
