...from the beginning to end. There are the good things, like being able to eat whatever you want and it finally being ok that your waistline is growing. Of course, then the heartburn sets in after that 4th piece of chocolate, so there's always some repercussion, right?
So, because life is so uncomfy for 9 months....it's really no surprise that I look for as many ways that I can to make things MORE comfy. Pedicures, long naps, clementines....clothes, I think I spend 80% of my life now in pajama bottoms.
Let's talk CLOTHES. Preggo clothes have a history of being quite unflattering. Even now, if you didn't start out as a size 5, there aren't alot of flattering options. But does flattering really matter? Really?
Ok...so sometimes I DO have to leave the house. And when I do, I try not to be in my pajama bottoms with the $ signs all over them (Christmas present 2 years ago for James...trying to encourage him to shake his money-maker Ü).
When I first caught the preggo virus (and yes, something is in the water...there are like 25 chicks pregnant right now...6 of them are in my family, it's so cool!) these are the jeans I wore. Yes, I wore maternity jeans at about 2 months...why not? I was already fat, might as well be comfortable. Plus, these were good at first, non-constricting, room to breath.....so nice.

Well, I finally bought a pair of these beauties about 2 months ago, and they are about worn out since I wear them probably 4/7 days a week! Aren't they ugly? hehe. Ahhh...the price we pay for motherhood.

I might have to go get me some!! I tried some on at Target today (because both my maternity jeans have holes in them) and they were so uncomfortable. They were tight in the thighs and low cut. Like I really want low cut when I'm prego!! And who cares how ugly they are....that's the part that noone sees:0) I stay in my sweat pants unless I'm going somewhere:)
I don't think they're ugly.. My regular pants are cutting into me and I think the baby is kicking at them when I sit down.. :) So I'd love to have some pregger pants to be more comfy! ;) hehe and totally about the low cut part Krista said.. I don't get why they have the low cut ones!! :)
Awww, I remember it well. I don't think they are ugly, i think they are just what has to be worn so you can carry a baby around for nine months!!!! Hang in there! I'm so excited for you! You are a great mom! Love, Lois
I kinda of figure since you are toting around another human being you get to dress any way you want and it should be ok. Mostly I say that because I know that you would dress modestly at least anyway and we wouldn't be seeing anything that we shouldn't if you were 19 and a size zero!
The ones I bought from Motherhood were $29.98ish. And I can wear them at least 3 days in a row before they get too baggy and fall off...just FYI...maybe the hubby's should get ya'll some Motherhood giftcards for Christmas!! :)
That's how much the low cut ones were at Target!! I was like what??? I will definitely have to go to motherhood instead!! Unfortunately, it's not just down the street:) Oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only one that wears my jeans until they fall off:) LOL!!
Yeah, Target's are ridiculous...I tried a pair on a few months ago and I couldn't believe how tight the legs were...who are these skinny-legged pregnant people! lol ;)
I have no idea who they are but they should be shot:0)
Old Navy has comfy jeans for less than $35.
When I was pregnant I lived in Old Navy Jeans. They were not full panel and they were less than $35. I found them to be super comfortable.
