I had a 'funny' title for this post, but I forgot....

I'm one of those people who you would call an Eternal Optimist. I can find a bright side to almost everything....I don't like to be disappointed or have a crappy time, so I'm going to make the best out of every situation...life gives me lemons and I'm gonna make some lemonade, dangit...and it's gonna be some dang good lemonade!

So...I could find a bright side to going to the Midlothian Balloon Festival....but I'm just not gonna. It was Lame....with a capital L. LAME. Bleh. First of all...I totally understand that it was windy...but COME ON. Balloons can't fly in the wind? Ok...maybe they can't...but COME ON {stamps foot}.

They had some cool planes on display...I guess they were in a air show...which we missed. But that's ok, because it was probably LAME.

I did get a cute picture of my girlies....of course that lady back there (yes YOU...in the red shirt...) had to go and holler at me for NO REASON. I was lifting Bella up to look inside the plane, and she runs over, hollering "oh oh oh oh...dooooon't" like I was trying to put Bella inside the plane! I looked at her and said "I'm not retarded, I was just showing her the inside, for goodness sakes!!!" PEOPLE! And this was like the first thing we did...I shoulda known.

Lame.

Little dude did very well...no complaints. Of course, we were outside with a big ole blue sky for him to gaze at.

They had the planes do a "closing" I guess....they flew off...

Lame.

It was hot...but the breeze, errrr....WIND....kept the sweat cool (I think you have to live in Texas to appreciate that feeling). But mom forgot a blanket or chairs to sit on.

Lame.

So we were all sitting on prickly grass and dirt.

Lame.

And they wouldn't blow up the balloons because of the wind.

Lame.
So they did these "ALL BURN" (that's how the announcer said it) things.
Lame.
To really cool movie soundtracks, like Titanic or Star Trek...so you thought it would actually be something cool, BUT IT WASN'T.

Lame.

Then the Remax dude thought he could blow up his balloon and fly it over closer to it...

See it...

Ittttty....Biiiiittttty.

Lame.

So itty bitty that you tell your girls "right over there" and they have no clue...

See it...????

No??

Lame.

Then Remax decided to be even MORE daring and blow another balloon up closer...

You get props...but still....

Lame.

Especially at this point in the game.

It got pretty big!

Sideways big...
Lame.

And COME ON....where's the pretty rainbow colored balloon?? We see that Remax balloon everywhere...commercials, billboards....

Lame.

Freebird burritoes don't taste like Zaba's (or even 2nd best Chipotle)...

Lame.

And the Remax balloon stayed sideways.

Lame.

But....

EuroBobbles + Bella = not Lame.

EuroBobbles + Bella = HILARIOUS. (Just wait, I got it on video, too).

EuroBobbles costing $10 for 15 minutes of fun...

only semi-Lame.

Note to self....DON'T BE LAME....if there is wind...don't go to a balloon show and spend as much as you would on a good steak dinner!
